The Gernot Huber foundation awards scholarships primarily during the winter months, November to April on the Atlantic island, Tenerife. Those eligible for sponsorship are sculptors whose completion of academic education is not more than 10 years in the past.
The scholarship includes:
- the costs of flight tickets,
- accommodation in the guest house of the foundation with an integrated kitchen unit for self-sufficiency,
- all materials required for the object and the associated logistics,
- an allowance of 2,000 Euros.
The period of scholarship includes the planned working time plus time for island exploration.
There is the option of accommodating your spouse.
Applications accompanied with a self-presentation must be addressed to the foundation.
